Standardized Testing GuidelinesÂ
É侫ÊÓƵ offers a standardized-test-optional admission process for all undergraduate programs — applicants may submit standardized test scores, but those who choose not to will not be disadvantaged in any way in the admission process.Ìý
Applicants who choose to submit ACT and/or SAT scores can have them sent electronically from the testing company or include them on official high school transcripts. Self-reported scores will also be considered. If multiple test results are sent, Rockhurst does superscore.Ìý
Additional Requirements for International Students:
English Language ProficiencyÂ
Most international applicants are required to demonstrate their English language proficiency, which can be done by submitting any one of the following:Â
- 550 on the paper-based TOEFL (PBT)Â
- 80 on the internet-based TOEFL (IBT)Â
- 627 on the TOEFL ITP Plus for ChinaÂ
- 6.5 on the IELTSÂ
- 54 on the PTEÂ
- 550 on the Evidence-Based Reading/Writing portion of the SATÂ
- 21 on the English portion of the ACTÂ
- Successful completion of a college-level, non-ESL English class at a U.S. college or universityÂ
- 110 on DuolingoÂ
Students who are a citizen of a primarily English-speaking country, or have completed their entire high school curriculum in English, are not required to submit a standardized test score as proof of English language proficiency.ÌýPlease if you have any questions.Ìý
Because the É侫ÊÓƵ mission and values encourage the pursuit of academic inquiry, service and social justice, applicants and admitted students will not be penalized as the result of any disciplinary action by their high school resulting from lawful, peaceful protests organized to make a stand regarding critical societal issues.Ìý
