Faculty, Administrator Named Dean of College of Business, Influence and Information Analysis
A longtime member of the Helzberg School of Management鈥檚 faculty and administrative leadership has been named the new dean of the College of Business, Influence, and Information Analysis at 射精视频.
The appointment of Myles Gartland, Ph.D., to oversee the college is effective immediately. Gartland has served as the interim dean of the college since last year.
CBIIA encompasses the AACSB-accredited Helzberg School of Management and the departments of strategy and influence, information and mathematical analysis, and public policy and financial management. In this role, Gartland oversees 35 full-time faculty members, 18 degree programs, 1,100 undergraduate and graduate students and revenues of $12 million.

Prior to being named interim dean, Gartland served as the senior director of graduate business programs and strategic innovation at the Helzberg School of Management. He joined 射精视频 in 2001 as a faculty member, eventually earning the rank of full professor of analytics and management.
Gartland has extensive knowledge of AACSB accreditation standards, issues and processes, leading the Helzberg School in maintaining the gold standard of business school accreditation. He has led a curriculum redesign of the MBA program and was instrumental in establishing two new degree programs, the M.A. in m聽and the M.S. in business intelligence and analytics.
Gartland鈥檚 efforts to continuously update technology in CBIIA classrooms helped ease the transition to remote learning during the pandemic and his external-relations work, in partnership with the University鈥檚 advancement team, has resulted in grants for technology, professional development and faculty improvement.
